Approximately how many labor applications were filed each day for EB3-India. ?
Assuming around 5-10 each day and around 300 days in a year . it would
be around 3000 . Considering that there was minor downturn in 2001-2002
year i'm assuming that Cut-Off dates should be moving faster for EB3-I.
Note: I'm in EB3 India category and trying to make a calculated guess.

YOu should go ahead and file your response to RFE. I had the same issue with my case when my attorney did not inform me of a RFE. After missing the deadline, I filed my repone through a different attorney explaining the problemand USCIS accepte my response.

Currently I�m holding h1 and same time has AOS with my existing employer. I�m continuing my employment based on h1 and use Advance parole for travel purpose. My employer mentioned about not revoking I-140, even if I move to new employer. Since with new client, I�m transferring my H1 visa, I have 2 options with regard to my AOS portability
1) Either just transfers my h1 without porting AOS with new client. Continue with my AOS with old employer, since he won�t revoke my I-140 and provide support for future employment.
2) H1 transfer and Porting my AOS with new client and it does require my job and description mentioned in I-140 matches with current offer.
I would really appreciate, if you provide your valuable suggestion/recommendation. The best option to go ahead with.

1. File a Form AR-11
2. Call this number (800) 375-5283 for pending I-485 and EAD renewal applications for self and spouse
Do I need to update the address on approved AP/I-140/EAD or any other approved applications as well.
Am I missing something :confused:

One particularly well-qualified witness on this subject was not called by either the prosecution or the defense, so today we cross-examine Robert Feldman ourselves. Feldman is a social psychologist at the University of Massachusetts who studies lying in everyday life, and his findings are just the kind of thing that Libby's lawyers could have pounced on.
Feldman's experiments show that stern-faced judicial proceedings about perjury are as remote from the realities of human behavior as President Bush is from the Nobel Peace Prize. For one thing, lying plays a more complex role in human relationships than the black-and-white legal view recognizes. It is also so commonplace in everyday life that putting people on trial for lying is somewhat like putting them on trial for breathing.
Experiments have found that ordinary people tell about two lies every 10 minutes, with some people getting in as many as a dozen falsehoods in that period. More interestingly -- and Libby might see this as the silver lining if he is found guilty -- Feldman also found that liars tend to be more popular than honest people. (Ever notice how popular politicians somehow change their minds on controversial issues such as the war in Iraq at the exact moment that public opinion on those issues changes?)

My law school roommate and long time friend Henry Olsen is the vice president of the conservative think tank the American Enterprise Institute. He's written an essay for the National Review entitled "The Way of the Whigs" and it talks about the danger the GOP faces in terms of long term survival. Hi,
My H1B 6 years will be finished in February. My I140/485 were filed in August and I will be laid off on December 31. What options do I have now?
- My employer had filed my immigration papers at my current work location. They are willing to relocate me to different location but are not sure on the impact of change in address. Can I relocate with my current 140/485 filed for current address?
- Can my H1 be extended based on approved labor? I can then move to new location with same employer on renewed H1B and start the entire process again?

As long as you have a valid advance parole, an approved I-140 and a bona fide offer of employment in the same or similar occupation you are not likely to be at risk if you go to India. In my opinion I think we should get the news guys into this and get the information out there about the irresponsibility with which they have mismanaged the whole process. Such kind of problems usually grab headlines when it happens with US citizens.
I think we need to be heard. Imagine, insurance companies violating makes news, social security makes news, airport security regulations and mismanagement makes news _ WHY CANT THIS? THIS IS SO CRUEL. HOW MANY HOURS, MONEY, EFFORT HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN? CAN WE NOT GET SOME NEWS CHANNEL TO COVER THIS? SOMEONE TO SPEAK TO A JOURNALIST ABOUT HOW AWFUL IT HAS BEEN????

Need advice on how to reopen a bia appeal. We have vacated an aggravated felony Sept 25 that precluded any relief. Ninth circuit review pending and im seeking an extension on the opening brief until I find out bia status. The question I have is if i should just use IAC as an argument or just try to reopen based on a material change? I dont want to open a "can or worms" but the attorney throughout the 5 year court proceedure never advise to vacate or any post conviction remedies. Bia appeal decision Apr 29/09 is past the ninty days.
