Check the DNS settings in network setup in your computers, and in your router/modem. See what you have. Your ISP should have servers they recommend, try them. Or you can search the internet for other DNS servers, try some public ones out, like the aforementioned Google.
If they are set fine in your router/modem, you can set your computers to nothing or to the IP of your router, which is usually something like 192.168.0.1.
I've seen computers (or modems) that end up with half a dozen DNS servers listed, maybe not even typed in properly, and it would sit and wait with a blank page for 5 seconds before loading any webpage. Cleaning up DNS with a good server usually drops that wait time.
I also once had a similar problem to Popeye's, where I couldn't go to certain websites. I can't remember specifics, I think I replaced my Qwest DNS with Verizon's or something and it cleaned that up. That was many years ago, it's a little foggy.

Edit: to clarify, if you take an EF 17-40mm and put it on a 60D, you will get the exact same field of view as an EF-S 17-55mm if both are set to 17mm.

It's clearly a QA issue Apple is having with the phones...which I think is sad given the time it took for them to release. :(

Interesting thought though. His rejection said it was for ridiculing public figures, but their policy rejects defamatory material. There is certainly a fine line, but the line most certainly exists. You can ridicule someone till the cows come home without engaging in defamation. The distinction is probably too difficult for anyone without extensive legal background to make on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
Apple should just drop the defamation clause, which may be difficult for them to do to.
I'd say Fiore flirts with that line often enough, Pulitzer winner or no. I don't know the legal technicalities, but I would think Apple would do themselves a favor by letting the lawyers figure out what's defamation and what isn't. I can't see how they could be held responsible for someone else's words, but I'm not a lawyer.

I downloaded it and tested it out a bit this afternoon.
First thoughts, Voice is real tinny sounding and not the easiest to understand.
Downloading maps was not a problem in the city at city speeds, on the highway that's another story, with in a couple miles the map ran out and never really did catch up till I got off the highway about 10 miles later with a full signal 3G connection.
The interface is nice and is very easy to use. Maps are good turn by turned was flawless. Checked out how current the maps where by going through a new subdivision only about 2 months old and it found all the street names no problem.

Already exists. They are called the 8gb iPhone 3GS for $99, and the 32gb iPhone 4 for $299.
Next year, there will be an iPhone 4 with 8gb for $99, and the iPhone 5 will take over the $199/$299 spots with new, fantastic features. :)
How much cheaper does Apple need to make the phone to entice buyers? What can they do to make a more expensive phone for "high end" customers? Make it gold-plated, or possibly an iPhone with 24" spinner rims?

I dont understand why MS would put a huge vent on top of the unit. Dust will clog the fans like crazy, and with the 360's horrid stability record i would be very nervous laying it down flat on my shelf.

Well, I'm not very good at guessing numbers but it goes all the way around the corner now. :) We had one rather arsey guy who tried to queue jump to the front of the queue but the security swiftly dealed with him at which point he screamed that we were all sad loser geeks. :rolleyes:

After cutting my cable TV 3 months ago I've been using Netflix and haven't looked back! I considered getting Hulu Plus, but didn't see the value in it. I barely even watch Hulu free anymore (all my free episodes are expiring to Plus now). Occasionally I can't find anything "good" to watch, but it's great for watching older TV shows in HD. Been burning through Arrested Development :D
Yuck. I used to have Netflix as I have 4 devices that stream Netflix (WDTV Live, LG Stereo, Samsung TV, TiVo - a little overmarketing, TiVo?)... and I noticed over the last year a huge drop in the decent stuff available to stream, namely anything good from TV... can't even watch seasons of CSI... Fu#$% that.
I cancelled for total lack of anything good streamable.

And i still fold. The widget says i'm #58 @ 116 days from Dreadnought.
Make that 133 days! :D Too bad Virtual PC quit on me (and deleted my whole 10 GB windoos partition), because I have 2 finished WU's from my pc @ work (firewall at work blocks the up and download of wu's from Stanford), about 500 points worth! So Red_eye, first try and come close then we see if you've got what it takes to overtake me! :D
Too bad the store is in Belgium, I thought you lived in the Netherlands, Amsterdam or something, then I would have come by some day!!
